ELCO Weekend - Lincomb Farm
Lincomb Farm is situated on the edge of the Severn valley near Stourport-on-Severn in Worcestershire (see here for location map).
Originally a family run arable farm, over the last few years various areas of the farm have been converted by fellow Land Cruiser owner Tony Symonds over to leisure activities with extensive Equestrian facilities (see http://www.crosscountrycourse.co.uk/) and more recently the addition of an offroad course in the wooded hills over looking the farm.
The OffRoad course covers an area of around 9 acres and presents a broad range of technically challenging driving opportunities. The main ethos behind the course is to provide situations to test the skills of the drivers and abilities of the vehicles as opposed to just a series of mud pits like many other offroad pay and play sites.
The site is regularly used by Brookln Motors for demonstrating the 4x4 vehicles they sell (see http://www.ur4x4extreme.co.uk/) and is increasingly being used for driver training.
In addition to the Offroad course there are extensive tracks around the farm that will be available for gentle driving.
