ELCO Mailing List
Welcome to the European Land Cruiser Owners mailing list.
This list is open to European owners, users or enthusiasts of Toyota Land Cruisers. We welcome non-European members as well, however please bear in mind that the list is intended for Europeans so topics covered mainly relate to that region.
At present the list is mainly made up of UK owners however we have an expanding overseas membership with owners in France, Portugal, Eire, Poland, Mauritius, Holland, Kenya, US, Australia, all contributing regularly.
With TLCs only really being imported into Europe in any significant numbers starting with the 80 series, this is what most list owners own, however we do have owners of 40s, 60s, 90s and 100s so don't be put off. The members are a very friendly bunch willing to tackle questions on any aspect of TLC ownership regardless of the model you own/intend to own.
Topics of conversation vary from basic servicing, tyre choice, fault finding, etc right through preparing your TLC for Overlanding trips and totally off topic subjects like the theme tune for the Archers!
List Traffic
At the moment the amount of traffic varies quite considerably with some days passing with no messages at all to other days with up to 80-90 emails coming flying through. If you are put off by this volumne of traffic you can always just subscribe to the Digest Mode that delivers all the messages for the day as a single message sent out at around 6pm (UK time) every day.
To help manage the messages it t is well worth you configuring you email program to filter all messages from the list into a new folder so they are moved away from your usual day to day messages - further info on this will be posted soon.
PRIVACY
We take your privacy seriously. Landcruisers.info will not give the names of subscribers to this list to others, and we have disabled the List Server LIST command, so that people cannot get a list of subscribers from our server.
